DETAILS:

We meet in Sirkeci at our meeting point in the old city. After a stop at the former Orient Express train station, we cycle through the magnificent Gülhane Park, which was originally part of the Topkapı Palace from the 15th century and arrive near the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque via the Hippodrome. After making a stop by the Basilica Cistern we head towards the Grand Bazaar and the ancient Istanbul University. After a short explanation here, we cycle through narrow streets to the Suleymaniye Mosque Complex. Located on the third of the seven hills of Constantinople, this complex is the masterpiece of the prominent Ottoman architect Sinan and offers an incomparable view and panorama of the city. We make a brief stop here, and you’ll have time to visit the mosque on your own. Don’t forget to take a photo especially here.

Via the old neighborhoods, we head towards Vefa, where we see the Sehzade Mosque, the spectacular fourth-century Roman aqueduct Valens, and the Vefa district where we taste the local soft drink.

Returning via the Golden Horn and bustling Eminönü, we come back to our starting point in Sirkeci, passing by the Spice Bazaar.
