The last time I went there was to surprise my mother for her 82nd birthday. My parents loved the surprise, the location on the shore of the Bosporus and the rich cuisine that was offered us by the Laledan Restaurant. It was a festive Sunday Brunch and a true pleasure for the palate!

Some time ago I returned to the Laledan to catch up with several long time friends and food lovers. We enjoyed a rich array of delicacies in the midst of a garden by the Bosporus. It was a lovely and casual outdoor brunch that lasted from noon till 4 pm.

They offered us a huge variety of the choices you could desire on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Included in the price was a glass of Prosecco sparkling wine, and all non-alcoholic beverages & tea/coffee. From the staggering array of food we could choose from in this brunch I want to mention just a few.

My absolute favourite was the rich variety of sushi delights the Sushi Chef prepared: with tuna, salmon, sea bass, octopus and shrimps. But several vegetarian sushi combinations as well!
